Many models of the French car maker Renault are available in the Indian automobile market.  The company's entry-level car, Renault Kwid, is quite popular in India.  There is not much time left to implement BS6 emission norms in India.  New Emission Norms will be implemented in India from April 1, 2020.  This means that the registration and sale of BS4 vehicles will be stopped after March 31, 2020 in India.  The company is offering discounts on its BS4 cars.

In India, the new BS6 rule has been in effect from April 1, 2020.  According to this rule, many vehicle sales in the market will be closed from April 1.  So Renault has decided to discontinue the Duster with a 1.5-liter diesel engine due to reduced demand.  In addition, the company is also removing MPV Lodgy.  From April 1, all vehicles in the Renault portfolio will be available in the petrol version of Kwid, Triber, Captur and Duster.
