Gujarat corona Update date 21-4-2020 Morning 10-00 AM
Tests went up Sunday, cases dropped, a total of 131 people from the state received 196 positive treatments out of 4,212 samples, and after recovering from an infection, Corona Winner went home.
Giving updated details of Corona, Principal Secretary Health Jayanti Ravi said 127 new cases have been reported in the state. The highest number of cases are in Surat. 69 cases have been registered in Surat. Besides, 50 cases have been registered in Ahmedabad, 2 in Rajkot, 2 in Aravalli, Gir-Somnath, Tapi and Kheda 1-1. With this, the total number of positive patients in the state has increased to 2066. Another 6 have died in the state.

Total patient 1939, 71 died and 131 discharged
Patients were discharged from three districts
After 3 cases were reported in Porbandar, 2 in Sabarkantha and 1 in Morbi, they have been discharged for recovery. During the 24 hours in the state, 26 people were discharged from recovery. Only 20 patients from Ahmedabad were discharged from the hospital on Monday. A total of 131 have been discharged.
Curfew extended in metros till April 24
The curfew has been extended in Surat and Rajkot, including the Kot area of Ahmedabad in the state, state police chief Shivanand Jai said, adding that most of the cases in the state have been registered in these three cities. Following which, the curfew has been extended in the three cities till 6 am on April 24. Of the 34 deaths in Ahmedabad, 25 have died in Kot area. Also in Rajkot, out of 38 patients, 30 patients are registered in Jungleshwar.
