Important announcement has been made by the Government of Gujarat. People do not have to go out for the necessities of life. Free food will be provided to 60 lakh families. Apart from that, there are many important announcements to know what to do advertising. It is important that the CM's decision will benefit 60 lakh families and 30 million people. The announcement states that 10  kg of wheat and one and 1 kg of rice 1 KG Dal 1 Kg Sugar will be available per person. Still important decisions will have to be made. People will be informed as soon as a decision is made.

Distribution of 10 kg wheat, 3 Kg rice, one kg sugar 1 Kg Dal per person on ration card.

The government, on Thursday, decided free distribution of 10 kg food grains per person and one kg of  60 lac APL- 1 beneficiaries covered under National food security Act (NFSA) to ensure availability food to poor people during lockdown due to COVID-19.

Under NFSA, the government provides 10 kg of food grains per person
“That means beneficiary would be entitled to get 10 kg of food grains over ration shops.

Announcing the scheme, Chief Minster Of Vijay Rupani government of Gujrat would not allow anybody, specially any APL-1 Card Holder family, to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrains due to disruption in the next three months.

“The government will bear the entire expenditure of Rs 40,000 crores spent for distributing free food grain “ said a food ministry official.

Vijay tippani  said that in addition to food grains, every household will get one kg per family, of pulses like moong, toor, chana, urad would be provided for next three months.

“The pulses distribution will also be borne by the government,” the official said.

The card holder will be given a token and accordingly the goods will have to be returned. Government employees will also be placed at each shop for checking.
There is enough allotment on each shop and this time there is no need to rush for thumb impression as there is an off-line supply. Free cereals will be provided to ration card holders registered under the National Food Security Act
