The government is coming up with a big scheme for the workers who have left their jobs in Lockdown and returned to their hometowns. The working class does not have to depend on cities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch a big scheme for the employment of such workers in which 25,000 people will get employment in the first phase alone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Grameen Lok Karya Yojana on Saturday to provide employment to all the workers who have left the cities and come to the home state due to the lockdown. According to an announcement made by Nirmala Sitharaman, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi will also join the launch of the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan on June 20 through video conferencing.
50 thousand crore plan
Five other state chief ministers and union ministers will also be involved in the digital launch of the scheme. The scheme will involve more than 25,000 migrant workers from 116 districts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Orissa in the scheme. The government claims that the scheme will lead to skill mapping of workers.
