Guidelines for preparation of study material: 1. The convener of the zone in consultation with other District Education Officers coming in his zone should prepare the main important subjects of the standard allotted to the zone by a team of experts from the districts included in the study material zone.  Sample study material of some subjects is sent here along with it for expert guidance.  2. This study material should include a brief explanation as well as questions for the assignment work prepared as the students can study the issues of the chapter on their own.  3. Once the study material of the allotted standard subjects is prepared, the concerned District Education Officers will have to send it by e-mail to all the District Education Officers of the State as well as to the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.  4. Preparation of study material for the month of June and sending it to all the districts and boards should be completed by 09/08/2050 and study material for the month of July should be completed by 8/08/2030.  5. All the District Education Officers will have to send the study material prepared by the experts of the main important subjects of Std-9 to 12 to all the secondary and higher secondary schools under their jurisdiction by e-mail.  The principals of secondary and higher secondary schools will have to send a soft copy of this study material to the students in their parents' mobile.  If this matter is not resolved then necessary action will have to be taken to ensure that the students get the hard copy of the study material in compliance with the existing guidelines of the Government.  6. Principals and teachers of all secondary and higher secondary schools shall provide necessary guidance to the students regarding the use of this study material.  7. In addition, students will have to give necessary guidance on how to watch educational programs of Std. 9th to 12th broadcast on Vande Gujarat through Byseg.  8. Educational programs for Std-9 to 12 major subjects as well as special educational programs for examinations like JEE, NEET have been uploaded on the Board's YouTube channel 'GSHSEB'.  In order for the students to get the maximum benefit from this program, the principals and teachers of the schools will have to give the necessary guidance to the students.  9. During all the above proceedings, the guidelines of the Government regarding COVID-19 should be fully complied with.  Special note is requested.
