The Rajasthan government on Wednesday declared an outbreak of mucormycosis (black fungus) in patients recovering from corona virus infection. The state's medical and health department has issued an official notification in this regard. According to a statement issued by Chief Medical Secretary Akhil Arora, the move is aimed at increasing the number of corona infections due to the effects of corona mycosis, the coronary virus infection of black fungus, and the combined treatment of corona and black fungus.

Mucormycosis (black fungus) has been declared an epidemic and notifiable disease in the entire state under Section 4 of the Rajasthan Epidemic Act 2020 along with Section 4 Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had a few days back expressed concern over the emergence of cases of mucormycosis in some patients who have recovered from corona virus infection in different states of the country, including Rajasthan.

Concern over new disease symptoms among children released from disaster / corona, 10 cases in Ahmedabad


As many as 10 cases of multi-system inflammatory syndrome have been reported in Ahmedabad, with children showing symptoms after the corona came negative.



● Increased MIS-C infection in children

● 10 cases of MIS-C were reported in Ahmedabad

● MIS-C disease occurs in children up to 18 years of age

A new disease has been found in children in Ahmedabad. Cases of multi-system inflammatory syndrome such as mucomycosis have been reported. About 10 cases of multi-system inflammatory syndrome have been reported in Ahmedabad so far. Symptoms are seen in children after corona negative. This disease is known as MIS-C.


Statement given by the doctor of the Civil Hospital


Rakesh Joshi, a doctor at the Civil Hospital, told VTV that the disease was being studied at the Civil Hospital. A study is underway on the cases of children who have contracted the disease. In which children usually have fever for 3 days and diarrhea and weakness are also seen. So children who are serious have less heart pumping.

In this disease, the brightness of the patient's eyes decreases and the condition of removing the jaw also arises. There are about 100 patients in Rajasthan who suffer from black fungus. A separate ward has been set up at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur for their treatment where they are treated with full protocol.
